Announcing a new Sponsor and a Christmas in July Giveaway: My Sleeping Beauty

I am very excited to share a new sponsor on Mastering Mommy Brain. I have known Eva over at My Sleeping Beauty for over 10 years.

The “over 10 year” thing is kind of scary to me because we met Freshman year of college, so now I am feeling old. In preparation of my birthday coming up next month, I have started reviewing with my son that mommy is always 29, and that is what he tells everyone, so I am feeling a bit better.

Back to My Sleeping Beauty….
Eva launched her business last year, and since she launched, my house has been filling up with some fantastic products, including these silhouettes of my munchkins:
This etched drink dispenser and numbered cups (a gift from a dear friend!)
And a close-up of the classes that go with it (I have 8)…
and my Spring wreath (after searching ALL over, she did exactly what I wanted with the Forsythia wreath!):
My absolute favorite product line that she has is her Christmas items. Honestly – they are so sweet and unique. Last year, I bought this Christmas Present. When I opened it and plugged it in, my son started dancing around our kitchen singing Christmas songs – and it was October. I loved it!!!!! To celebrate Eva’s return from maternity leave and her sponsorship of MMB, we are having a “Christmas in July” celebration – you can win your own present box!

Thank you my dear! So honored to be on your blog – cannot wait to ship off one of our products to a special winner!

Wow – what beautiful items – I am going to have to check her out. I especially LOVE the silhouettes and the gift – awesome!!!
My favorite things to do is bake (and eat) Christmas cookies. Oh and my second favorite Christmas thing to do is to wrap gifts. I LOVE it. Put on an old Christmas movie or listen to Christmas carols, get out the wrapping paper, and wrap away!!!

My favorite Christmas tradition is to go to church and a fancy dinner on Christmas Eve, and then come home to find Santa has brought one early present (new pajamas!).

Bethany - July 15, 2012 - 8:28 pm

My most cherished Christmas tradition is attending church on Christmas Eve and lighting candles while we sing Silent Night. It is so special every time!

Veronica - July 15, 2012 - 8:41 pm

Favorite Christmas tradition is setting up the nativity scene with my kids. I love listening to them tell me the story of baby Jesus.

Missy - July 15, 2012 - 9:17 pm

Adorable, beautiful Christmas present Box! Lights…just one of my families most favorite part of the Holiday to put up and keep lit through the Holiday season of Christmas! Thank you for such a great chance to win your beautiful creations!

Thinking of the holidays are scarey but brings smiles to my faces because of traditions. My children and I love making gingerbread houses or trees or anything we can think of. As a family we love to watch all the holiday specials on TV!
These items are beautiful! Cant wait to shop!

My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the tree. As we get each ornament out of the box, special memories and stories are told about where we got the ornament or a special time or trip in our lives. Our Christmas tree is a memory tree and more!

Suzi - July 16, 2012 - 10:25 am

My favorite Christmas tradition is a meatless Christmas Eve. We gather around the table for the meatless meal, and put a knife under the table (it is supposed to signal good health in the New Year), and then go to Midnight Mass

Jess - July 16, 2012 - 2:07 pm

My favorite Christmas tradition was stolen from my best friend. We get a Carvel cake and light a candle and sing “Happy Birthday” to Jesus and then the kids blow out the candle together. I love that it keeps the focus on the big birthday party we’re having for two days!

Christmas is my favorite holiday so it’s hard to choose! But my favorite is one my Mom started when my sisters and I were little. Every year on Christmas Eve she always gave us each a gift-which was an ornament for the tree. She saved them all over the years and when we were all grown, she gave each of us our set to use in our own homes. It’s a tradition I’ve already started with our daughter. :)

Christmas is also my favorite holiday and my family has so many traditions that it’s hard to choose one. I think the one tradition that comes to mind is the start of the Christmas season, which for us is the weekend after Thanksgiving. My husband, son, and I go cut down our tree at a local tree farm and then decorate it that night. We always end the night by making party mix and watching a Christmas moving with our tree all lit up. It’s always exciting every year!

My favorite tradition is going to see the tree in Rockafeller Center.

Meghan - July 18, 2012 - 7:09 pm

There are so many favorite Christmas traditions… and I love reading everyone else’s as well!
One of my favorites in our family has already been mentioned…making a cake & singing Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus!! I remember very well one year when we just didn’t have the time to make a cake so my mom ordered one… I was a bit mortified as a teenager to go pick up the “Happy Birthday Baby Jesus” Birthday cake at the grocery store! :) Now I LOVE the tradition & passing it on to my kids!
We have also had a LONG tradition of going to church & out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve! Such fun holiday times!

Theresa - July 20, 2012 - 1:20 pm

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is going to the city to see the tree in Rockefeller center, to see all lights/displays in the stores, and to visit Santa at Macy’s Santaland. My mother always took us when we were young and now I take my 3 children.

Eileen - July 20, 2012 - 3:29 pm

My favorite Christmas tradition is going to a local tree farm and cutting down our tree. We started doing it when we bought our house in CT and have done it every year since. It’s always an adventure with lots of laughs. We may not always have the most beautiful tree but we have a lot of fun.
