So, I started a day late on the challenge, but, I had the afternoon off from work, kids were napping peacefully, I cleaned the house up and had some down time to myself. SO WEIRD! I should really take vacation time more often for random days at home!
I am catching up on 2 days of the challenge here…and after spending time on a lot of other blogs first, I think I need to step up my game here. I get caught up in checking everyone else out, I was forgetting to write! oops!

I think I blog about everything
I blog because I have always loved to write – journals, emails to friends, and really anything. To find out more about why I blog, and the inspiration for my blog’s name…you can find it here: http://www.masteringmommybrain.com/2012/04/07/welcome/.I think I am pretty open about what I will share, but I like to stay away from too much negativity (really, who needs that…) and too many personal details about my husband/kids. I am the one choosing to share information, so, they get to keep their names and pictures for now. This might change someday, but I am sticking with it for now!
For inspiration, I find it EVERYWHERE! Living life brings inspiration, reading other articles, questions that people post on my page or email me about…my husband is pretty good at always saying – that should be a blog post, did you take a picture?!? My friends have also been awesome in this whole adventure as well…they are always emailing me or texting me with suggestions. Really – I am a lucky lady to have such a support network! I have a notebook FILLED with post ideas, and try to write them up whenever I have down time. I have a bit of a stockpile of ideas – its SCARY!

Also, what are your favorite websites? Are there any that you check daily? What do you like about them?
I am pretty active on Facebook for my blog – www.facebook.com/masteringmommybrain. I feel like a fun community is building on the site – people ask questions, I will share random pictures/quotes, and I think it is overall a supportive page.
I am on twitter, but feel like a lot of stuff there goes into a black hole. I am pretty overwhelmed by it, but know I just need to spend time with like a 15-year-old or celebrity, and they could explain it to me pretty easily. My twitter name is @mastermombrain. I mostly hang out on twitter on my train commute home these days, as my brain is pretty fried, and I can only handle life in 140 characters.
I love pinterest, although have to admit I have been lacking a bit lately over there. I have not been on the computer as much with all of the beautiful weather, so that has been the spot that suffers. Oh well!
I don’t understand Instagram and Google+, so I have stayed away. I have a feeling I will be diving in there pretty soon though!!
My fave websites that I check daily (beyond those above) are Huffington Post, Here is the City, CNN, Foodnetwork.com…and if I have time, I will hit up TMZ, US Weekly, or People. My town also has a “moms” facebook page and tag sale facebook pages which I check WAY too often.

First of all, I love your blog design!
It looks like we visit a lot of the same sites! And like you, I don’t really understand google +. I only use it because Picnik picture editing became part of it, so it was the only way I could continue to use that program. Now that I’m learning Photoshop I hardly ever even log in to google+!
