MMB Christmas Wishes!

Can you believe we are just about at Christmas? I am in a bit of shock here. While our presents are all purchased and wrapped, I am still debating what I am making for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals, and I completely forgot to do all of those projects and make all those recipes I pinned on Pinterest for the holidays. Regardless – my son keeps saying that Christmas is going to be “AWE-some” and I completely agree. We have been having fun with Christmas music dance parties, taking the “long way” driving anywhere to enjoy Christmas lights, reading lots of Christmas books, just sitting and looking at our tree each night, and enjoying every Christmas card that has arrived in our mailbox.  Have I been lazy about creating the picture perfect Christmas for our family? Yes. We did not have chocolate dipped marshmallows that are turned into reindeer, we do not have a single craft to commemorate the holidays – but we have had a lot of laughs, lots of snuggles, and lots of amazing family time.

I did not post as frequently this past December, but I was thrilled to be a part of Jaden’s Christmas wish, excited to be on sites such as BlogHer and Plum District, overwhelmed with joy at the release of my first Children’s book, and it was necessary that I spent time reflecting and honoring the victims of Sandy Hook.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following along this online journey of mine. It has been an amazing opportunity over the last 8 months to grow, to interact with so many readers, to meet other bloggers, and to just have a really good time doing this blogging experiment. I look forward to sharing many great new things in 2013.

I will be limited online until the New Year so for now…I am wishing you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and an Amazing New Year from my family to yours.

Here is a picture from our Christmas card, which was inspired by my Red Sox/Yankees Post. The saying that we used (which we chose back in November, unknowingly what was going to be happening in December) was: Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with us.

Christmas Wishes
