Did Those Words Really Come out of My Mouth…Mommy Brain

There are many times where I say dopey things to my kids. We talk a ton together, and sometimes, I just don’t realize what is coming out of my mouth. This happens a lot with my son as he takes after his mom big time. He never.stops.talking.ever. Questions, stories, it really doesn’t matter…

The other day, I loaded the kids up into the car, and we were talking away – about everything and nothing, and all of a sudden my son goes, “Mommy, there is a bug on my water bottle.” My response – “Well that would be interesting to drink.”REALLY?!?! Of all the things I could say, THAT is what I choose??? I do a quick follow ups of, “shoo the bug away”, “eww that’s gross.”

All I hear from the back seat…”YUM, that was TASTY. Good dinner.”
